Pleasant autumn days call for one more moment outdoors. Coffee after work, tea for two or the catch-up with friends you keep postponing. The Chillout terrace in central Nitra is just the place for it.

A courtyard worth taking a turn for
On the Chillout terrace, old walls sit alongside wooden seating with cushions, plants and a sandy patch of courtyard. Colourful light bulbs hang above the tables. The whole space is tucked between buildings right in central Nitra, just a few steps from the usual city bustle.
If you mainly know us from evening events, try stopping by in daylight too. Choose a spot by the greenery, set your bag down and order something good. A walk through the centre can become a welcome pause, with time to finish the conversation that always seems to end too soon.

Our drinks menu includes espresso and cappuccino, loose-leaf teas, fresh mint tea and hot chocolate. Stay with your favourite coffee, or treat yourself to the chocolate you did not feel like having all summer.
There is plenty to catch up on around a shared table. A new job, stories from your last trip, or a simple “how are you?” when you want more than a quick answer. These are the get-togethers that are easy to put off until next week. One pleasant autumn day can be a good reason to finally make time.
And if you still catch the daylight, all the better. In autumn, it is worth meeting a little earlier and leaving the evening open to your mood and the weather.

Friends meet on the terrace, birthdays are celebrated and memories are made that people return to. Lucia reminded us of one such story. During her birthday celebration here, she lost a ring her husband had given her when their daughter was born. Years later, it was found during the terrace renovation and returned to her.

Music and evenings together are part of Chillout. There is room here for concerts, dance parties, quizzes and stand-up comedy. Depending on what you enjoy, you can plan your get-together around a particular event and meet your friends a little earlier.
